Originally from Bismarck, North Dakota, Kris Hanning watched the seasons change from cold to really cold. After graduating from Montana State with a degree in photography, she was compelled to “head west” as they say. Her travels landed her in sunny Tucson, Arizona where she has worked with local photography companies such as Thomas Veneklasen Photography, Edward McCain Photography, Balfour Walker Photography, and Steven Meckler Photography. With these rewarding and educational experiences under her belt, she started Kris Hanning Photography in 1996.
